Laimonas Talat-Kelpša

Laimonas Talat-Kelpša (b. 1977) is a Lithuanian diplomat with almost three decades of service in foreign and security policy. He currently serves as Ambassador of Lithuania to the Netherlands and has previously been Ambassador to India and the Czech Republic.
He is the author of Rudamina. The First Lithuanian in India, illustrated by Elzė Milašiūtė: a lyrical children’s story based on the true life of Andrius Rudamina, the 17th-century Lithuanian scholar and explorer who became the first known Lithuanian to reach India. First published in Lithuanian in 2025, the book has recently appeared in English.
